For the purposes of this survey, Historic Environment Scotland (‘HES’) is the Data Controller of any data you choose to share.

Your Data

All individual survey responses will be anonymous. Please note that if you provide the information requested, the lawful basis for collecting and processing it is consent and by completing this section, you are consenting to HES collecting this information.  You can find more details about how we manage your personal data in our privacy notice.

What will we do with your data? 

Your responses will be used to build an anonymous, aggregated picture of how Fair Work is understood and applied across Scotland’s historic environment sector.

The findings will be used to:

  • Identify common approaches, challenges and support needs across organisations of different sizes and types;
  • Inform sector learning, future guidance and support activity;
  • Support evidence-based conversations with partners, funders and policy-makers, including Scottish Government;
  • Contribute to reporting and evaluation linked to Our Past, Our Future, Scotland’s national strategy for the historic environment.

All responses will be analysed in aggregate only. Individual organisations or respondents will not be identified in any outputs.

Analysed and summarised survey results will be shared in reports through Our Past, Our Future and may appear in our annual reports.
