Partner volunteer survey

Overview

Thank you for taking part in our Historic Environment Scotland (HES) Partner Volunteer Survey

Before you begin, you can find out more about HES in general on our website, where you can also find more information on our volunteering programme.

The survey has a maximum of 23 questions, composed primarily of multiple choice, rating and "yes" or "no" questions, with some free response text. It is estimated that this will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. At any point in the survey you can save your responses and return later using the "save and come back later" button on the bottom of each page.

Our Volunteer Development Framework

HES is building its first Volunteer Development Framework, which will set out how we will support growth and improvement in our volunteering offer.

Partners can provide constructive feedback and help us to identify and deliver improved, extended or new volunteering opportunities. This survey is the starting point for partner participation in the development of the Framework. Your input is very valuable and will  provide information that will inform the structure and content of the Framework.

There will be an opportunity for you or your organisation to get involved with the next stages of the development of the Framework, including workshops later in the year. If you are interested in taking part further, you will be able to note your interest at the end of this survey.

What happens next

Thank you for taking part in Historic Environment Scotland's Partner Volunteer Survey. By sharing your knowledge and insight you will help us to produce our first Volunteer Development Framework. The Framework will set out the growth and improvement we wish to see in our volunteering offer in HES.

Will will collect the data from this survey after the closing date and analyse the information provided. We will share the results with you when analysis is complete.

The data compiled from the responses to this survey will be used to inform a series of facilitated workshops where we plan to get into the detail of what we want to say in the Framework. Those who have indicated that they wish to take part in these workshops will receive further information from us directly.
