Introduction

The survey has a maximum of 23 questions, composed primarily of multiple choice, rating and "yes" or "no" questions, with some free response text. It is estimated that this will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

The survey is split into three sections. Remember: you can save and come back to the survey at any point using the "save and come back later" button on the bottom of each page:

1. What will we do with your data?

Your Data

All survey responses will be stored within restricted files in our secure digital document centre, to which only HES colleagues who are analysing and summarising the data have access. Analysed and summarised results will be shared in internal HES reports and may appear in our annual reports.

Please note that if you provide the information requested, the lawful basis for collecting and processing it is consent and by completing this section, you are consenting to HES collecting this information. For further information, our Privacy Notice explains your rights and our role in protecting the information that your share with us.

We will process your personal data in strict accordance with the UK GDPR and he Data Protection Act 2018.

Analysing and collating data

After the survey closes, the data will be collated and analysed by the HES Community & Economic Development Team.

If you choose to participate in the Volunteer Development Framework workshops, your contact details, including name, organisation, and email address will be stored within restricted files in our secure digital document centre for use in contacting you to share information and invite you to the workshops.
